Message             

Despite the noise of vuvuzelas in the background, the listener can clearly hear Kaizer Chiefs coach Steve Komphela. In response to questions in the post-match interview, the message Komphela gets across is that he is happy with him teams performance during the game, the fact that his goalkeeper Itumeleng Khune got injured, and complements Chippa United coach Tebogo Moloi.

I was able to evaluate the three messages Komphela conveyed in his post-match interview, see above under ‘message’.

Verify

The messages conveyed by Komphela are his opinion. Since he is the coach of Kaizer Chiefs, his opinion is highly credible as he knows the ins and out of his players, his team and the game.          

Medium

Form

The medium is well presented as the lighting is good and the background is a light-blue board.

Flow

The interview has a good flow, as it starts with Komphela answering a question from the interviewee and ends with the opposition coach being brought on to take over from Komphela.

Alignment

The message and the medium are in alignment because you can hear and see what happens at the same time, which helps to make more sense especially when Komphela calls Moloi.
